Preschoolers
Classes for preschoolers start the earliest and are the shortest in duration. Most of the training is based on games, fun activities, and developmental and integration exercises. Learning through play is a fantastic way to spark a love for sport and a healthy lifestyle from an early age. Our original training programs and many years of experience ensure that even 3-year-olds have a great time and learn effectively during our classes. Our instructors are passionate educators with many years of experience.
Zajęcia odbywają się w lokalizacji Podgórze przy ul. Dauna 66 od 16 września 2024
Children
Classes for children help develop focus, concentration, attention, and the ability to overcome failure and challenges in life. Group training promotes social behavior, builds friendships, and provides positive role models. We work on: strength, speed, flexibility, agility, and endurance.
Children’s classes at Grappling Kraków follow a proprietary training program that delivers fantastic results.

Teens & Adults
Classes for teenagers involve more physical intensity than for younger kids, and focus on both sport combat and self-defense. We emphasize the importance of proper conduct, consistency, and responsibility in life.
Adult classes help improve fitness, boost health, and positively impact confidence, mood, and self-image. We encourage parents to train—not only during sessions but also together outside of them.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ)
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art that originates from Japanese ju-jutsu, freestyle wrestling, and judo. It includes both standing and clinch techniques, but places the greatest emphasis on ground fighting. This is based on the belief that most real-life altercations eventually end up on the ground. BJJ focuses on grappling, joint locks, and chokes—strikes are not used in either training or sport competition.
BJJ can be practiced in a traditional uniform (Gi) or in shorts and a T-shirt (No Gi/Submission Fighting).

Kickboxing
Kickboxing is a modern combat sport that combines boxing techniques with kicks. Its origins trace back to the second half of the 20th century in the USA, where it was initially known as full contact karate, and in Japan, where it evolved from a mix of karate and Muay Thai.
Kickboxing uses simple yet highly effective fighting techniques derived mainly from boxing, Muay Thai, and karate.
A kickboxing bout is a stand-up fight using both punches and kicks. Depending on the ruleset—such as K1—elbows and knee strikes may also be allowed. Kickboxing enhances not just physical fitness, but also technical skill and determination.
Boxing
Fist fighting dates back to ancient Greece, where it was part of the original Olympic Games. In those times, it resembled brutal, ruleless brawls conducted standing up, with no ground fighting. Boxing as a structured sport began to take shape in 18th-century England.
At Grappling Kraków, our boxing training focuses on punching technique, bag work, sparring, defense, and improving physical fitness and strength.
It’s an intense workout that strengthens not only the body, but also coordination and endurance.

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA)
Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is a dynamic sport that combines the most effective elements of various combat disciplines proven in no-rules tournaments. MMA includes a wide range of techniques: takedowns, strikes, kicks, joint locks, and chokes.
MMA involves cross-training, preparing fighters for combat in striking, clinch, and ground phases. The key tactical skill is transitioning smoothly between these ranges.
The technical foundation of MMA includes Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), kickboxing, boxing, judo, and wrestling.
At Grappling Kraków, we offer MMA classes for children, teens, and adults, with sessions tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
Wrestling
Wrestling is a combat sport where athletes use throws and holds to control their opponent on the ground. Its origins date back to ancient times, where wrestling was one of the core events of the Olympic Games in ancient Greece.
Wrestling includes two styles:
- Greco-Roman – holds allowed only above the waist
- Freestyle – holds permitted on the entire body, including legs
At Grappling Kraków, wrestling classes are available for teens and adults, and often serve as supplemental training for Jiu-Jitsu and MMA athletes.

Judo
Judo is a martial art developed from traditional Japanese ju-jitsu by Jigoro Kano, who removed dangerous techniques to make it safer for contact practice with a partner.
Judo includes four types of techniques: throws, pins, joint locks, and chokes.
At Grappling Kraków, judo classes are available exclusively for children.
We offer recreational groups for children aged 4–6 and 7–9.
Muay Thay
Muay Thai, also known as Thai boxing, is a martial art rich in tradition. Originating in Thailand, it goes beyond punching like its Western counterpart. Often called the “Art of Eight Limbs”, it is a complete form of hand-to-hand combat.
Muay Thai incorporates punches, kicks, elbows, knees, and clinch fighting—creating a powerful and comprehensive striking system.
It teaches how to use the entire body in a self-defense situation, maximizing both offensive and defensive capabilities. The explosive movements and quick adaptation to fight scenarios make Muay Thai a truly formidable discipline.
